Barley grain is caffeine free. Barley contains a chemical substance called antiprotease. These compounds stop the production of intestinal cancer agents and prevent the formation of tumors.

It prevents liver from making “LDL” cholesterol. Therefore, it reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. This property is for the presence of water soluble B-Glucan in barley.

Substances in barley are effective in regulating and reducing abdominal pain and constipation.
