The maximum usage of this malt is 10% of the total amount of grains. Dark roasted malt is used in small amounts to create flavour or adjust colour in all styles of barley water. This malt can be replaced with Blackprinz Malt or Midnight Wheat Malt. The husk of this malt creates bitter notes during the resting process, which means that the dark malt gives a certain amount of bitter or dry flavour to the barley water.
It is heated up to 200 degrees Celsius and as a result, it will have a stronger colour and taste and is used in making very dark beverages.
Store in a dry, clean place at room temperature.
The recommended shelf life is 9 months after production.
